Today was our last full day of our Village, so we had some special activities.
Activity 1: “Smugglers” with water balloons, which ended up in a water fight. That was so much fun.

Activity 2: We planted a tree. Everyone wrote a wish on a sheet of paper, which we put into a glass jar. Then we buried the jar together with the planted tree. We stood around the tree and sang the CISV song. Some of us already started crying.

Activity 3: Not a fun activity: cleaning and packing.
Activity 4: The sad part. We sat in a big circle in the court yard. Everyone lit a candle and said some words about what he liked at the Village. Then we made a good bye hug circle. Everyone started to cry.

We put all of the mattresses into the activity room and had looooooong lullabies. The kids were allowed to sleep all together on the mattresses in the activity room. We watched some pictures on the projector and then everyone fell asleep.

All of today’s pictures here.
