Day 9 – Leader’s Night Out

26 07 2008

Houston, we’ve got a problem. We were invaded by tiny little alien creatures occupying our hair, also known as lice. After checking everybody’s hair we decided to buy some lice shampoo. Since the weather was pretty warm today, we had some fun outside washing each others hair in order to get rid of those nasty insects.

At night leaders, JCs and staff members left the camp site and went out for our leader’s night out, while other CISV chapter members were taking care of the kids. First we went to a “Buschenschank”, which is a typical Austrian restaurant, that is famous in this area.

Then we went to a “Woazackerfest”, which means “Corn Field Festival”, which was really great. We listened and danced to some typical Austrian “Hm-Ta-Ta-Music”. We went to bed really late, thank God we had a sleep in the next day.
